Two of Cups: Can I Dive With My Eyes Open?

What do I see: A man and a woman stand across from each other holding cups, the woman with two hands and the man with one, as he reaches out towards her with the other. The sky is blue. They have wreaths on their heads. There are hills and a house behind them. There is a symbol of a red lion with wings above them.

What I feel: Happy. Comforted. This card is clearly love and love is all I seem to think about these days. 

Meaning: "When you are falling for someone, look for the Two of Cups in your tarot reading. (keen.com)." This card represents the beginning of a compassionate, nurturing relationship and above all, in my opinion, a conscious relationship. Both people are awake. This isn't going to be a relationship where I'm blind to the truth because true love is not blind. This isn't going to be a relationship where I feel like hell and "someone, please save me," because finally, I love and respect myself. The lion symbolizes balance. With this card there is an exchange of energy that makes both people better. Not "I have nothing to live for without you" better. Their white clothes represent a pure motive and I love that. 

Personal: I never thought I'd get out of my "soul-mate" mentality. In fact, when I did think I was out of it, it turned out I just went deeper and got into "twin flames." What am I going to do with myself? I just love love, you know? I love the idea that two people could be made for each other and they've been waiting all of this time to meet. But I'm truly over it now. It messes with my intuition because it puts ideas into absolutes and when I start thinking in absolutes there's no room to change my mind, even when it doesn't feel right. And it leaves room for magical surprises. Someone recently told me they're waiting until it's overwhelmingly right. Me too. If you could see me now you could see how hopeful I am for love. I know it's coming but my impatience is on FIRE.
